Journey to Me (new age poetry)

I hear the sound I long awaited,
I smell the scent I forever longed,
My sky seems perfect again
Onto my life, the love of an enchanted beauty has dawned

I see my lord in an endless awe,
I see all dancing in his rhythm divine,
I am mesmerized, I am willingly blind
As I see an endless pool of thy holy wine

I begin to breathe in this love,
I begin to breath out in rejoice
I still get thrills, those enchanted chills
When I am drenched with calmness, on hearing your voice

The days go by, the nights are yet to come
“ My lord! Promise me that we shall forever be at one” , I sing
I am greeted with a smile, and nothing more
What does he mean? I am still not very sure!

I begin my dance, to please the One
Being with whom , my life has blossomed into beauty
I forget myself
I forget my being
I dive into wilderness, to inspire him to find me
And there I endlessly await him..

It has been Eons now
He never showed up
I cry in bewilderment
I want him to lift me up

I race back to him
I race back to love
I race back to what is mine
I race back to what is divine

I reach his ground
Where he rested, forever found
As I went closer, to feel his warmth
I witnessed another soul, enchanting him, eating of him
I stood there in awe,
The shrieks of my soul deafened me
I didn’t want to see him any more
Neither did I want to hear his holy sound

And Now I race back
To be out of him and within Me
The one that has been sleeping throughout eternity

I wake me up
I pull me down
“ You are my first love, and now I come back to you.
Will you be at one with me?”, I ask

I hear no answer
I see no smile
I witnessed something really juvenile

A chill rushed down my spine,
I was high, without drinking any wine
I was dancing without music
I wasn’t dancing to please
I was dancing all the way
From my freedom, to my release

I no longer worshipped
I begged no more
I no longer raced from shore to shore

I have found heaven
I have found what is divine
Me is all, I can ever call mine!
Me is all, I can ever call mine!
